Twins!!! I was making pancakes today, and I cracked the egg open, and there was twins!!!

It was just kind of cool. That was my first time getting a double-yolker, and I've been making the pancake batter for months now! This makes a record!

New Slippers .2

Alice and I got new slippers from one of our friends in our ward. Our friend is the mother-in-law of our bishop, and she is really nice! Of course Alice and I love her and the slippers!!!! (I took this picture, and staged it and everything)

Just thinking...

I was just thinking, I've only been to one full day of school this week!

• Monday- I was sick, and school was out anyway.
• Teusday- I was still sick with a fever.
• Wednesday- My first and last full day of school this week.
• Thursday- Two-hour early dismissal.
• Friday- No school again!

Now, though, we go to school until June 2. Last year, though, we went until June 6th or 7th!

We'll see how the weather goes, and hope we only have two hour delays!

Stuck inside

This weekend we were stuck in our house because of the ice storm going on outside. We couldn't even see outside!!!! That is all ice. Sometimes it was hard seeing Lily to let her in through the door! Also, everywhere was covered in ice. When the storm died down a bit, you could see the boys in our neighborhood playing hockey in the streets with thier hockey skates! Today there was a boy skating in our drive way (because our's was the only one uncovered), and he was really good. He was turning, and everything!

That is all ice. I felt sorry for all the trees, because they were COVERED in ice. dome branches on some trees were touching the ground! Our trees in front of the deck looked like someone had peeled them like a banana!

Then our power went out for about an hour and a half. But we got it back and we are okay now. The funny thing was that during the day it never got below 20 degrees! Imagine that!!

Umm, can anyone say: bath time???

Well, today Lily came inside with the dirtiest face I've ever seen. (on her.)Straight into the bath for her!!
All we know is that that was dirt. And it was messy. Too bad I was running, so I didn't get to see her myself!!! She acts just like a (curious) little toddler!!!

As I was looking back at old pictures, I stumbled across this picture of me as a child. I really had curly hair then, didn't I!!!!

I remember that I loved that dress!

New Slippers

I just finished these slippers last night. They were easy to make without a pattern, and it only took me a little bit of time. The only problem was that the one on the left I had to take out 7 times, after Mom and I spent a little over an hour fixing a huge knot in the yarn. (shudder.) It was fun, though, and they are really comfortable.

Headers

I've created a lot of headers for myself lately, just during free-time. I've apparently had a lot of free-time on my hands.....

And not only for myself, but for my friend, Mary, too.
