Often times whenever someone goes downstairs, Lily doesn't follow, she just sits at the top of the stairs, and in this picture, looks kind of sad.

trip to catherine's

The trip to Catherine's for Alastair's baby blessing was fun, and the weather was mostly nice. I took some good pictures outside and inside, though.

All in all, the trip was fun, even if we were only there for 36 hours.

So, there is a contest for a magazine called Shar Magazine (?) and the best photo that is sent in will be on the front cover of the fall issue. So of course I took pictures!!! of my friend and my viola!!! I would appreciate it if someone would vote for the best one(s). There might be more of Alice sometime that you can choose from, too, in a later post. (By the way, Shar is a magazine selling instruments and the prize is like a $25 gift certificate.)

I hate it when there's this big space!

ears

The title may have you pondering, but I didn't know what title to put, because I got my ears pierced! On my right ear, the person slipped so I had to get it done twice so that it would be on the mark instead of looking all weird. But, I think it was worth the pain because I got two suckers and 40% instead of 20% discount and a free pair of earrings which normally costed $26.00. So that was cool. They don't hurt ever and I think they look cool. (Also, there was a 50 cent rack at the back, so I stocked up on earrings.) I've also counted the soonest day that I can take these earrings out, and that is July 3! I can't wait!!!
