walk with lily

I went on a walk with Lily one day.Earlier that day she had treed a squirrel. She really likes that tree now.

She also likes a wood pile where a family of bunnies live. She's in her hunting mode, now.

I caught her trying to run away. This is not unusual.

I also took a lot of pictures of dandelions, and a fly.

alice's hair

Yes, I know what you all are thinking. A post about someones hair? What?!?! Well, it happens to be Alice's hair, so it makes it okay. Plus, I was the one to do her hair. I did a braid around her head. This is what she looked like before she had her hair done. Next are some photos of around her head. This is an official all black and white post.

Do you like it so far? It looks pretty cool to me...

Here are some different headers I've been working on...five minutes ago.

A perfect blog moment

After my all day NIJO tour (Northern Iowa Junior Orchestra), I came home, and after being home for about a half hour, someone opens the door, and the mother finch is there. Well, the bird did't know anywhere to go except in, so all of a sudden we had a bird in our house. She flew into the greenery in our kitchen, then to a plate mounted on the wall. After that, Lily with her hunting phase on right now, just had to jump out the door because she thought the bird had gone outside. I was the one to chase after her. She didn't get far with my fast legs. Thanks to the people who wrote in experiences to the Ensign, we knew how to get the bird out. We turned off all the lights except the ones leading out the door. After getting caught in Alice's hair, the finch finally flew out the door. We are now really careful when we open the door. Of course, while Alice and I were hiding behind the couch, I had to ask if we could wait so I could take a picture. The answer was "no".

Twins? I think not!!!

Remember one of my first posts on this blog was about Alice and me looking alike. Here's Lily and Max (another dog) who is a totally different breed.

We found three finch eggs in our door decoration. They either build a nest in the light fixture, or in the decoration.

First, the Flowers

Like the title says, first comes the flowers that I took, during Easter. I have taken a LOT of pictures...

Wow, it's the same way here, too!!! These ones are even on the same plant!!!

The Falls

Here are some pictures of what I call "the Falls" it also happens to be the name of our local pool, but that's really not important to the story. There is a TON of trash everywhere, but I got past that to what I think were some really cool shots. Here they are:
